        I wonder how many people pay TV licence only because it’s too difficult, and the consequences too high, to not pay it.

      Technically, I don’t need to pay for a TV licence. But my TV has an aerial port and can pick up signal without an aerial plugged in.

    With the risk of a £1000 fine, it’s not worth it to not pay it. But I get basically nothing from the BBC for my £150 each year.
