        @ow I hadn’t thought of it like that. Although the like buttons (outside of the FB site) seem like they fall more in the ad category.

      @ow They’re tracking whether you’re logged into FB or not (or have never had a FB account).

    @ow To be clear, I’m not suggesting FB tracking is better/good, but there is at least some level of consent from registered users.
