    When I worked in a second hand game shop, we required ID from anyone selling/trading in anything.

      If it was under £50, we would accept seeing their bank card. Over £50? Had to be photo ID (driving licence/passport)

        At least half of people with > £50 trade/sell didn’t have ID. Most of them said it was because they couldn’t afford it.
